What is Cruiserpalooza?
Cruiserpalooza is more than your normal cruise expo — it’s a cruise event!
Proudly presented by Globe Trotters Travel Group, Cruiserpalooza brings cruise lines, travel experts, destination inspiration, exclusive offers and plenty of fun together for one big celebration of cruising on the Gold Coast.
When and where is Cruiserpalooza?
Cruiserpalooza takes place on Saturday 24 October 2026 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Mudgeeraba Showgrounds on the Gold Coast.
Come for an hour or stay for the whole event!
Is Cruiserpalooza free?
Yes! Entry is completely FREE.
We recommend registering before the event so we know you’re coming and can keep you updated with exhibitors, presentations, special offers and event news.
Do I need to register?
Pre-registration is recommended, but walk-ins are welcome.
Registering beforehand also means we can keep you up to date as we announce more of what’s happening at Cruiserpalooza.
Is Cruiserpalooza just for experienced cruisers?
Not at all!
Whether you’re planning your first-ever cruise, have already cruised your way around half the planet, or are simply wondering whether cruising is right for you, you’ll find plenty to explore.
Come with questions — that’s exactly what we’re here for.
What types of cruises will I be able to explore?
A little bit of everything!
Discover ocean cruising, river cruising, expedition cruising, luxury cruising, small-ship cruising, family cruising, solo cruising and more.
From relaxing tropical escapes to Antarctica, Alaska, Europe and some of the world’s great rivers, there are cruise experiences for almost every kind of traveller.
Which cruise lines will be attending?
We’re bringing together a fantastic collection of cruise lines, operators and travel partners.
We’ll be announcing our Cruiserpalooza 2026 exhibitors as we get closer to the event, so keep checking the website for the latest line-up.
Can I talk directly to representatives from the cruise lines?
Absolutely — that’s a big part of Cruiserpalooza!
You’ll have the opportunity to meet cruise representatives and travel experts, ask questions and learn more about ships, destinations, itineraries and what’s coming in 2027, 2028 and beyond.
Will there be presentations?
Yes!
Throughout Cruiserpalooza we’ll have presentations and talks covering different cruise styles, destinations, ships and travel experiences.
We’ll publish the full Cruiserpalooza Event Program closer to the day.
Will there be special deals?
You bet!
We’re working with our cruise partners to bring you a range of Cruiserpalooza offers and exclusive event deals.
Some offers may only be available at the expo or for a limited time, so it’s worth coming along and seeing what’s on offer.

Can I book my cruise at Cruiserpalooza?
Absolutely.
The Globe Trotters Travel Group team will be there to help you compare options, answer questions and get your next adventure underway.
But there’s no pressure to book. You’re just as welcome to come along, have a look, collect some ideas and start dreaming about where you’d like to go next.
I’m a solo traveller. Is Cruiserpalooza for me?
Definitely!
There are more options than ever for people travelling solo, including dedicated solo cabins, hosted experiences and selected cruises with reduced or no single supplements.
Come and chat with our team about finding the right cruise experience for you.
Don't forget we own the Solo Travellers Club and will have a focus on Solo cruising on the day
Is Cruiserpalooza suitable for families?
Absolutely — bring the crew!
Cruising can be a fantastic option for families and multigenerational holidays, with everything from kids’ clubs and waterparks to dining, entertainment and activities for different generations.
Cruiserpalooza is a great opportunity to compare cruise lines and discover which experience might suit your family.
Do I need to know where I want to go?
Definitely not!
You can arrive with your exact ship, cabin and destination already picked out — or simply walk in and say:
“I have no idea where I want to go. Inspire me!”
We quite like the second one.
How long should I spend at Cruiserpalooza?
We recommend allowing at least 1–2 hours to explore the exhibitors, talk with the cruise experts and catch a presentation.
But there’s nothing stopping you from staying for the whole event and making a day of it!
Is there parking at Mudgeeraba Showgrounds?
Parking information, entry points and other important information about getting to the event will be published on the Cruiserpalooza website before the event.
Who is behind Cruiserpalooza?
Cruiserpalooza is proudly presented by Globe Trotters Travel Group, a family-owned travel business based in Mudgeeraba on the Gold Coast.
We’ve been helping people explore the world since 2007, with a strong focus on cruising, touring and creating travel experiences that are right for the individual traveller.
Cruiserpalooza grew from a simple idea: bring the cruise industry to our local community and make a cruise expo actually fun to attend.
Is Cruiserpalooza an award-winning event?
We’re pretty proud to say yes!
Our cruise events have been nominated for industry awards two years in a row, and following the success of last year’s expo, Globe Trotters was recognised with the 2026 CLIA Marketing Award and the 2026 Envoyage Cruise Excellence Award.
It’s given us an even bigger challenge for 2026 — make Cruiserpalooza bigger and better again!
Why is it called Cruiserpalooza?
Because “Gold Coast Cruise Expo” just didn’t sound like enough fun!
Think cruise expo meets travel show with a little bit of festival thrown in.
It’s about meeting the people behind the cruise lines, discovering destinations, learning something new, finding great offers and having some fun while you’re doing it.
That’s Cruiserpalooza.
